Playing Grandmaster Level Chess

The number of chess enthusiasts increases with each passing year, and if you want to get ahead of the pack, and stay there as well, you are going to need some sort of training from someone other than yourself. That is the bottom line, and if you want to play grandmaster level chess, you cannot do it alone. Over the years I have tried many different tutors, trainers, techniques, programs; you name it, I have probably tried it. I have learned quite a lot over this period of time, and some of the methods I described above helped me more than others, although most of them contributed to my ELO Rating now. I completely understand that everyone is not able to go out and hire a professional chess tutor/coach, and that is why I decided to write this blog. I want to key you in on what I think would benefit you the most, and keep you from wasting time and money. I have tried a few programs recently that I think are the absolute best in terms of price to training value, and what you will learn for your dollar. I will list a course for players rated along the lines of <1000-1400,>1400-1800, and 1800 +. I want to stress that I am not affiliated with any of these companies in any way, shape, or form, and I just wanted to promote these sites for the students' benefit, rather than my own. I currently teach high school level chess, and I know how much these programs benefit players, because I have tried them with my students. Thanks for reading, and have a good day everyone!

PROGRAM #1
I am still looking for a great beginner program, and will post that once I have found it.

PROGRAM #2
I thought this program would be a joke when I first saw the infomercial type layout of the page, but I sprang for it anyway, and I was surprised to say the least. The reason I will recommend this program is because of the way it goes into detail about strategies, and teaches you how to analyze the board and make your decision based on the imbalances on the board. I found this course to be slightly better than any of the books I have read by IM Jeremy Silman, but this course reminds me of his teaching style. I highly recommend this for intermediate to advanced players, and talented beginners as well. Winning Chess (<----------------LINK) I think this course is even guaranteed, just in case, for whatever reason, you aren't able to learn from it, which I personally don't see being a problem. Enjoy it folks.

PROGRAM #3 This program was designed, in my opinion, mainly for more advanced players, and despite what whoever wrote it says, I would only get this program if you are on the more advanced side of the game. I can say that I really enjoyed going through the videos and lessons included in this program, and I even read somewhere of someone comparing it Yasser Sierawan's books. I can kind of see how that relates, but I personally do not think the styles are similar at all. I would prefer this over Yasser's works anyday, but I have never been one of his greatest fans to say the least. But I digress. Definitely check out this program, I think it will be worth it for you. -------->(LINK)------>Grandmaster Chess
